Winner of the prestigious BALI Principal Award

PWP were engaged to develop a full design and build package for this striking new home. The final Design encompassed all the elements set out in the clients brief including raising the ground levels so that the new sawn stone patio sits flush with the internal floor level maximising the space to spill out and entertain guests.

For the main focal point, a 30ft Water Rill was constructed in ‘sparkly’ black quartzite which sits at eye level when swimming in the indoor pool. Also, a bespoke ‘enchanted’ children’s tree house sits within the Larch tree canopy.

Semi-circular steps finished in sawn stone and bull nosed treads with pieces of natural black stone set in like a pack of cards act as step risers. A feature ‘sloping’ steel and hardwood side gate mimics the tall house buttresses and makes a nice detail as you drive in.

The client is extremely pleased with the finished project which our maintenance business now looks after. The client has acted as a reference for several other projects and also has invited us back to do additional work at the property.

The project won the prestigious BALI Principal Award and was subsequently nominated for an (ELCA) European Landscape Contractors Award!

"We believe it is important to offer our clients a quality service that not only shows innovative design but also a cost-effective means of construction. We work closely with other professionals in the field but also coordinate our own hard and soft landscape team, which means we can offer a ‘turn-key’ service with no project management fees, reducing the potential for error and ultimately the cost to the client”.
